Art gallery and performance space in Bradford (UK) hosting exhibitions, concerts, film screenings and other events.

After establishing a successful bi-monthly radio show on Future Music FM, Absorb returns to the corporeal realm to bring you another evening of ambient and chilled out electronics, this time at the wonderful Fuse Art Space in Bradford on the Saturday 14th March.

Heading the bill will be Manchester-based duo worriedaboutsatan, who return to the live circuit to showcase their new album, their first in six years. Delicately melding post-rock, ambient, glitch and numerous other influences, their debut album Arrivals was hailed by Pitchfork Media as “consummate mood-music that glints with striking details” and we’re extremely excited to host them.

We also welcome acclaimed electro-acoustic and electronica producer Rough Fields, otherwise known as James Birchall, whose music has been picked up by no less than Gilles Peterson and Lauren Laverne. James will be playing a rare DJ set for us, showcasing some of the records that have influenced his own music.

Absorb mainstay Oxynucid’s prolific output has spanned everything from ambient to acid techno across labels as diverse as Planet Mu, Tudor Beats and most recently Body Control. He’ll be gracing us with an exclusive live hardware improvised ambient set.

Completing the bill will be Absorb’s in-house DJ and radio host Jack Moss, soundtracking the evening with anything and everything from modern classical to dubbed out techno.
